The Ministry of Justice sought a transparent and interactive way to
present the information on the work of Slovenian courts. Web
application SoStat is based on the case bulletins, prepared by the Ministry of
Justice. It is intended for the general public, the media and professional public, anyone interested in the functioning
of the Slovenian courts.
For this purpose, we have established a web application SOSTAT
in collaboration with company ZZI. We
have developed a sign of the application, architectural design and user
experience. Interface solution is a minimalistic, easy to use and serves as a frame for
displaying interesting data. We have developed a system of filtering and
browsing, allowing advanced data analysis, still simple enough for less skilled web
users.
Users can also find information on movement of cases in courts, the
backlog of cases, demographics and other statistics in a particular court, and
an organizational chart of the courts.
