DIH Slovenia (Digital Innovation Hub) is the central national point for digital transformation of Slovenian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It operates under a one‑stop‑shop model, connecting universities, research institutions, companies, ICT service providers, and support organizations. With the aim of improving digital skills and supporting digital transformation in companies and the public sector, DIH Slovenia facilitates the exchange of best practices and provides access to digital vouchers, a catalog of experts, events, public calls, and an extensive knowledge base.

Challenge

DIH Slovenia wanted to establish a modern web portal that would centralize all key information related to digitalization: news, events, funding opportunities, vouchers, and a network of external experts. A core requirement was the integration of an expert catalog that would enable both the display of existing professionals and the registration of new external providers. The portal was also envisioned as a trusted and practical knowledge base that would serve businesses and professionals alike.

Solution

We developed a comprehensive website for DIH Slovenia, composed of several key modules:

  • News, events, calls, and vouchers: A custom content management system (CMS) was set up to efficiently manage current content, including digital vouchers, events, and public calls coordinated by DIH in collaboration with the Ministry and the Enterprise Fund.
  • Expert Catalog: An interactive directory of digital experts that allows external providers to register and present their profiles. This is crucial for companies looking to utilize digital vouchers and to find relevant collaborators for their projects.
  • Knowledge Base: A structured collection of content covering digital strategies, technologies, and best practice examples – designed to support companies in their digital transformation journey.

Since the launch of the new web portal, DIH Slovenia has achieved several key outcomes. The portal has become the central information hub for digital transformation in Slovenia, attracting a large number of visitors seeking information on calls, events, and vouchers. The expert catalog quickly began to grow, with over 1,000 external providers registered so far, significantly improving access to qualified consultants for SMEs. The knowledge base has become one of the most visited sections of the portal, as users actively search for practical information and guidance on digitalization.
