DIH Slovenia (Digital Innovation Hub) is the central national point for promoting the digital transformation of Slovenian businesses. Its mission is to connect key players in the digital ecosystem – from researchers and consultants to companies and public institutions – and to enable easier access to knowledge, experts, tools, and financial incentives for digitalization.
As a bridge between government mechanisms and the private sector, DIH Slovenia also manages the processes for awarding digital vouchers, which are a key tool for supporting companies in adopting modern technologies and competencies.
Before the implementation of the digital solution, the process of submitting and evaluating applications for digital vouchers was handled via email and partially manual document management. This often led to inconsistent application formats, delays in completing documentation, lack of transparency in sorting applications, lengthy evaluation and decision-making processes, and a greater administrative burden on the DIH Slovenia team.
Due to the growing interest of companies in digital vouchers and the need for transparency and procedural compliance, DIH Slovenia needed a centralized platform to fully digitize the entire process – from application submission to final decision issuance.
In collaboration with the client, we developed and implemented a digital platform for application submission and evaluation, fully aligned with DIH Slovenia’s internal processes and protocols.
The implementation of the platform enabled DIH Slovenia to fully digitize the entire application and evaluation process, eliminating the need for email communication and physical documentation. The processing time for applications has been significantly reduced – on average, the time from submission to decision is now 50% faster than before. The system ensures full transparency and traceability, as every step – from submission and amendments to evaluation and decision – is logged and archived within the platform. The automation also drastically reduced the administrative workload for the DIH team, allowing them to focus more on providing strategic support to businesses.
The website combines modern design and content structure, field-based data, and AI-powered support into a comprehensive information service for all park visitors.
