The Soča Valley is one of the most renowned tourist destinations in Slovenia, famous for its exceptional natural beauty, the emerald-green Soča River, hiking trails, cultural heritage, and a wide range of outdoor activities. Thousands of local and international visitors come each year in search of information about sights, events, accommodations, and experiences.

Challenge

Aiming to enhance the user experience and reduce the workload of their support team, the Soča Valley decided to implement an advanced digital assistant – an AI chatbot capable of answering visitor questions in real-time. The solution's goal was to increase guest satisfaction, streamline the team’s workload, and gather valuable insights into visitor interests.

We developed and integrated SočaBot AI for the client. The chatbot is based on the existing content from the Soča Valley’s websites and allows full customization, including the exclusion of sensitive topics and redirecting users to human advisors for more complex inquiries.
